Christopher (“Chris”) Biely began his law practice over a decade ago to ensure access to quality and affordable legal representation along California’s Central Coast. Since then, he has been passionately committed to serving his clients for a wide variety of legal needs. He is proficient in numerous areas of law and maintains a specialized focus on helping those with family law, divorce, and bankruptcy matters.

When clients come to him, they are often going through one of the most difficult situations they have ever faced. Those who work with Chris can be rest-assured that any legal matter they bring to him will be handled with dedication and empathy. He works closely with each client to learn about their objectives and works relentlessly to achieve a positive outcome to their legal matter.

Understanding that every situation is unique, Chris combines his experience, enthusiasm, and compassion to ensure that his clients get the personal attention they deserve when it comes to their matrimonial and family law matters. Chris recognizes that every case is driven by different facts that can have a major impact on the lives of parents and their children and is devoted to listening attentively to address his clients’ concerns. Chris works with each client to develop an effective legal strategy tailored specifically to the needs of them and their family.

Many people find themselves overwhelmed with credit card and medical debt, with little to no chance of ever being able to pay it back within their lifetimes without some kind of intervention. Chris’ focus on counseling clients about their options through the bankruptcy process is also significant to his commitment to providing critical help to clients at a time when they need it most. He appreciates the relief that clients feel when their case is resolved, and they get a fresh financial start.

Chris is proud to continue carrying out the long-standing rich legal tradition that his practice was built upon and is involved in several legal and community-based organizations. He previously served on the board of directors for the Northern Santa Barbara County Bar Association and the Children’s Resource and Referral Center from 2012-2019.
