Noelle T. Gaston
Noelle T. Gaston is an attorney at the Law Office of Christopher S. Biely who brings over a decade of wide-ranging practice experience. She focuses on estate planning, conservatorships, small estate administration, trust administration, and probate.
Noelle believes that everyone should have an estate plan that reflects their wishes. She dedicates the time to get to know her client’s needs and makes sure that they have peace of mind. Noelle tailors wills, trusts, advance health care directives, and durable powers of attorney to help her clients manage their medical decisions and assets, and to avoid probate. She works closely with each client to document their preferences and avoid future disputes in the event of their incapacity or death.
If a loved one loses capacity, Noelle helps her clients petition for conservatorship. Conservatorship cases are often highly emotional and stressful, as your loved one can no longer care for themselves. Noelle understands the legal system can be overwhelming for people who are not familiar with it. Her capable and compassionate approach leaves her clients relieved and encouraged.
When a loved one passes away, depending on their estate plan, a small estate administration, trust administration, or probate may be required. Noelle guides her clients step-by-step through these complex processes. Noelle communicates with her clients regularly and informs them about key developments in their case. She uses alternative dispute resolution methods, like mediation, to reduce conflict, cost, and the emotional wear and tear that the impact of litigation can have on her clients. But if litigation becomes necessary, Noelle is a dedicated advocate and skilled litigator in the courtroom.
Noelle is passionate about community involvement and her devotion to helping others with their legal issues extends to her volunteer work. Noelle previously served on the board of the Northern Santa Barbara County Women Lawyers Association as the Chair of the Continuing Legal Education Committee. Noelle is also a member of the California Central Coast Estate Planning Council, an affiliate of the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils.
